Golden Rule was a stand-alone carrier that has offered health insurance plans for more than 60 years.
It's a history as a well-regarded health insurance which is no small feat!
They were big proponents of the HSA plans originally.

United Health bought Golden Rule.
Shortly after this, United Health basically made Golden Rule its wing to sell and market certain types of individual insurance plans nationwide:

The Golden Rule short term plans are very popular in many States.
In fact, you can get pretty rich coverage for short term in terms of deductibles (we'll touch on this later).
There are three big changes that many States will adopt:
The difference is that you can get short term up to 364 days.

This network is broader than most we can get on ACA plans!
Golden Rules suffers from the same affliction that all health insurance carriers have online.
